Description: Dress up as your favorite book character or inspired by a book cover.

How It Works:

• Outfit Creation: Participants dress up based on a book character or book cover.
• Submission: Submit your photo on or before November 30, 2024, via this Google Form.
• Social Media Upload: CLR will upload entries on December 2, 2024.
• Voting Period: December 2-6, 2024. Encourage your friends to like/react to your entry.
• Judging: Entries will be judged based on the number of likes/reactions.

Rules:

• One entry per participant.
• Benilde Manila or Antipolo faculty, associates and students are eligible to participate and claim prizes.

1st Place: ₱1000 | 2nd Place: ₱600 | 3rd Place: ₱300 gift certificates.

BookFace Contest: Blend with your Favorite Book!

What is a Bookface? A “Bookface” is a fun photo technique where participants align their body parts in harmony with a book cover, creating an optical illusion.

How to Participate:

• Take a Creative Photo: Align yourself with the book cover for a fun “BookFace” photo.
• Submission: Submit your entry on or before November 30, 2024, via this Google Form.
• Social Media Upload: Photos will be posted on CLR's social media accounts for online voting from December 2-6, 2024.
• Judging: Entries will be judged based on the number of likes/reactions.

1st Place: ₱1000 | 2nd Place: ₱600 | 3rd Place: ₱300 gift certificates.

“Show Your Love for CLR”: Short Form Video Contest

Theme: Participants should create a short video showcasing why they love CLR. Benildeans may use storytelling, dance trends, library tours, highlight their favorite CLR resources/services, etc.

How It Works:

• Video Creation: Participants create a video (15–60 seconds, vertical format) featuring the CLR.
• Submission: Entries must be submitted to this google form on or before November 30, 2024.
• Social Media Posting: CLR will upload the videos to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube for online voting from December 2-6, 2024.
• Judging: Videos will be judged based on the number of likes/reactions.

1st Place: ₱1000 | 2nd Place: ₱600 | 3rd Place: ₱300 gift certificates.

Rules:

• Videos must be between 15 to 60 seconds in length.
• Content should reflect an aspect of the CLR and should be original.
• One video per participant.
• Benilde Manila or Antipolo faculty, associates and students are eligible to participate and claim prizes.

Golden Ticket Raffle: Borrow Books for a Chance to Win!

Borrow a book and get a chance to find a golden ticket inside! Each golden ticket gives you a chance to win!

Mechanics:

• Every time a book is borrowed from CLR during National Book Week, the CLR associate will insert a Golden Ticket in the book.
• Each ticket contains a QR code leading to a Google Form. Borrowers enter their details and the unique code on the ticket to join the raffle.
• After National Book Week, CLR will conduct a draw to determine the winners.

5 winners will each receive a ₱200 gift certificate, drawn after National Book Week.

Rule:

• Only one entry per borrowed book.

Eligibility:

• Benilde Manila faculty, associates and students are eligible to participate and claim prizes.

Guess the Book: Instagram Stories Online Quiz

During National Book Week (Nov. 25-29, 2024), CLR will post clues on Instagram Stories—a short excerpt from a popular book or a blurred book cover. Can you guess the book?

How It Works:

• The CLR uploads the clue (excerpt or blurred book cover) to Instagram Stories.
• Followers will have 24 hours to submit their guesses using the story's question box.
• The first correct answer will be announced on CLR’s social media account the following day, with a shout-out to the winner.

Eligibility:

• Participants must follow the CLR Instagram page (@BenildeCLR) to be eligible to win.
• Benilde Manila or Antipolo faculty, associates and students are eligible to participate and claim prizes.
