November is Library and Information Services (LIS) Month and 24-30 November is National Book Week (NBW)!
Respectively, these national celebrations focus on “engendering public awareness to the invaluable service that libraries and information centers render” and “arousing the national interest in reading good books and various types of reading materials to enhance knowledge and skills for social and cultural advancement among Filipino people.”
As the Br. Fidelis Leddy Learning Resource Center (LRC) continuously intensifies its online presence and provision of virtual services, we are pleased to announce to the academic community that we will be commemorating the LIS Month and NBW Celebrations this year with fun, engaging, and informative activities and events -- all for you, our dear Benildeans!
